The transition of United Employees Credit Union Members to DUCA is now complete. We are excited to welcome you to DUCA Financial Services Credit Union!

Our team is dedicated to supporting you through every step of this change. To assist you further, we have prepared this comprehensive United Transition FAQ document addressing common questions and concerns.

Transition Information:

Transition Period: July 31, 2024 - August 1, 2024.

Account Access: Your accounts have now transitioned to DUCA. You can access your new DUCA accounts and services through any of our branches or by calling our Member Connect Team. 

Product Changes:
On July 31, 2024, your United Member accounts moved to comparable DUCA products. This Product Mapping Chart shows each United account alongside the corresponding DUCA product that it has transitioned to. To learn more about your new DUCA product features, review our personal and business account fee schedule. 

Debit Cards:
United debit cards are no longer active. If you picked up a new DUCA debit card in advance, you can contact us to activate it now. If you did not pick up a DUCA debit card and would like one, please visit any DUCA branch or call Member Connect at 1.866.900.3822.

Online Banking and Mobile App:
United’s online banking platform and mobile app ceased operation on July 31, 2024, at 5:00 pm. To continue using online banking, please sign up for DUCA's enhanced online banking platform and mobile app. Contact us to get started. This process includes getting a new member card, setting up a new password, enabling 2-Step Verification for enhanced security, configuring account alerts, adding bill payee information, setting up e-Transfers, and activating AutoDeposit as needed.

Interac e-Transfer Services:
All e-Transfer functionality (including sending, receiving, and AutoDeposit) was disabled from July 29, 2024, to July 31, 2024. Starting August 1, 2024, you can contact us to sign up for online banking and set up new e-Transfer settings in your DUCA account. This includes setting up your profile, adding e-Transfer contacts, and setting up AutoDeposit.

Statements:
As a United Member, your account statements were provided in paper format only, no digital statements were available. To ensure you have access to your past transaction records, please make sure to securely store your United paper statements, as these documents will not be accessible at DUCA. While United Employees Credit Union provided account statements in paper format only, DUCA offers the option of e-statements. Contact us to switch to e-statements! 

Direct Deposits: Existing direct deposits will automatically transition to your new DUCA accounts and processed as usual. For example: If you automatically receive payroll, pension, or government payments directly into your United accounts, these will automatically start going to your DUCA accounts, after the transition period. Note: Direct deposits on August 1, 2024, may be delayed by up to one day. 

Pre-authorized Debits and Transfers: Existing pre-authorized debits and transfers will automatically transition to DUCA’s banking system. However, transactions scheduled from July 27, 2024 to August 2, 2024, may be delayed by 3 to 7 days. For example, a $100 pre-authorized transfer from your United account to another bank will continue after the transition but may be delayed if a transfer is scheduled from July 27, 2024 to August 2, 2024. 

Line of Credit Changes: Starting August 2024, payments for all Lines of Credit, including Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC), are due on the 15th of each month with a mandatory monthly frequency. Unsecured Lines of Credit now calculate a monthly payment based on 2% of the outstanding balance (vs the previous 3% with United) with a mandatory monthly frequency.

ATM Access: The Gateway branch ATM will be temporarily unavailable from July 29, 2024, to August 2, 2024. Additionally, the Leslieville ATM will be temporarily unavailable from August 19, 2024, to August 22, 2024. During these periods, you can find another free ATM on the Exchange Network.
